Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using Pickleball Explained (the "Site"), including our free cheat sheet, level quiz and emails, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Costa Launch LLC ("we," "us").

2. Educational content only

Our guides, cheat sheet, quiz and emails are general educational information about the rules and basic skills of pickleball. Rules are summarized in our own words from the 2026 USA Pickleball Official Rulebook; the rulebook itself, and any local or league rules, take priority over our summaries. The level quiz is an unofficial self estimate, not a DUPR or USA Pickleball rating. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by USA Pickleball, the PPA Tour, Major League Pickleball or DUPR.

3. Physical activity and assumption of risk

Pickleball is a physical activity and involves a risk of injury, including falls, strains and eye injuries. Warm up, wear court shoes and consider eye protection. Check with your doctor before starting a new activity if you have a health condition, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You use our content and practice drills at your own risk.

4. Our course and third party links

Pickleball Command is our own product, sold by Costa Launch LLC through Hotmart. Its own terms, refund policy and privacy policy, shown on the course website and at checkout, apply to purchases. Some links on the Site go to Amazon.com and are paid links: we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Products sold on Amazon are sold by Amazon or third party sellers under their terms. We are not responsible for third party products, websites or claims. See our Disclosure.

5. Emails

If you sign up, you agree to receive our emails, which include the free cheat sheet, beginner tips and occasional information about our course. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

6. Free cheat sheet and intellectual property

Site text, the free cheat sheet, the quiz, layout and branding are owned by Costa Launch LLC. You may download and print the cheat sheet for personal use and share a printed copy with your playing partners. You may not republish, resell or distribute it or substantial parts of the Site without our written permission. You are welcome to share a link to our home page.

7. No warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We try to keep our rule summaries accurate and current, but we do not promise that they are free of errors or that any drill will produce a particular result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Costa Launch LLC and its members, officers and agents are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, our content or third party products. Our total liability for any claim relating to the free Site is limited to USD $50.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Costa Launch LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
