1. Who we are

This website ("Pickleball Explained," "we," "us") is operated by Costa Launch LLC, 2001 Timberloch Place, Suite 500, The Woodlands, TX 77380, USA. Contact: contact@pickleballexplained.com.

2. What we collect

  • Email signup: When you request our free cheat sheet, you give us your email address and, optionally, your first name. The signup form is provided by Systeme.io, the email marketing platform we use. Your details are stored in our Systeme.io account together with the date of signup and technical data such as your IP address, which Systeme.io records to confirm the signup and protect against abuse.
  • Email engagement: Our emails may contain small tracking images and tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to improve the emails and to stop sending to inactive addresses.
  • Level quiz: The quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored.
  • Hosting logs: Our host, Cloudflare, may automatically log IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps for security and reliability.
  • Email you send us: If you write to contact@pickleballexplained.com, we receive whatever you include in that message.

We do not take payments on this site. If you buy our course, Pickleball Command, the order is processed by Hotmart on its own checkout page under Hotmart's terms and privacy policy.

3. How we use information

  • To send the free cheat sheet you requested and a short series of follow up emails with beginner tips
  • To send occasional emails about our own course, Pickleball Command (see our Disclosure)
  • To respond to your messages
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to comply with the law

4. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and send email, mainly:

  • Systeme.io (operated by ITACWT Limited, Ireland), which stores our email list and sends our emails. Your information may therefore be processed outside the United States.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The pages on this site do not set their own cookies. The Systeme.io signup form may load scripts from Systeme.io and set cookies needed for the form to work. When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies to record that the visit came from our site, under Amazon's own privacy notice. Our course page and the Hotmart checkout have their own privacy policies.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies on this site. If we add them, we will update this policy first.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. Retention

We keep your email address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we may keep your address on a suppression list so that we do not email you again. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click removes you from the list.
  • To access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email contact@pickleballexplained.com.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. We will honor valid requests.

8. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the information.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to our email account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do.
